Fong On Geotechnics Limited is the Hong Kong Sole Agent of Geobrugg's Products manufactured in Switzerland. We provide competitive and effective mitigation solutions to all kinds of natural terrain hazards for our clients be it rock fall, boulder fall, channelized debris flow or open hillside landslide.

SERVICES

Preconstruction Planning

We will work closely with the clients and their consulting teams early on at the project inception stage. This would allow us to steer the teams towards the more innovative, relevant and cost effective design options. This would ensure the design is buildable which in turn would ensure the projects are delivered both on time and within budget.

Detailed Design

We will make sure the site specific data like topography and ground conditions are suitably obtained. This would enable us to prepare a set of very precise shop drawings of the proposed barrier. The factory will then manufacture according to the specific design. In the meantime, we will also design the infrastructure of the system based on the site specific ground conditions. We will ensure all the local standards and regulations are complied with by conducting compliance tests.

Construction Management

The substructure will be installed first. As a result of the painstakingly excecuted planning and design that have already been done, the contractor willl be able to erect the tailored made barrier within a few weeks when the superstructure materials are delivered to site from Switzerland.
